The Ultimate Golf Cruise on Regent Seven Seas Grandeur

So I love a cruise. Did you know? I think I’ve said it before. Seriously it’s become my favourite way of travelling with the chance to explore so many different places while also enjoying great food, service, and luxurious accommodation. And only having to unpack once, of course. I recently had the pleasure of sailing on the new Regent Seven Seas Grandeur around Greece – and what an unforgettable experience that was, the stuff that dreams are made of. So I am super-excited to hear of this unique cruise on Grandeur next year.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises has announced a sensational 14-night Spotlight Voyage around the British and Irish Isles in the summer of 2025. And it’s for golf enthusiasts. The cruise will be hosted by Annika Sorenstam, possibly the greatest female golfer of all time. It’s on Grandeur (enough reason alone to go) and it sails from June 23, 2025 from Southampton (a roundtrip).

The voyage will begin with a meet-and-greet cocktail party with Annika in the stunning Observation Lounge. There will be driving demos on the top deck, a chance to practice putting on the ship’s putting green, a fashion show featuring Annika’s clothing partner LOHLA Sport clothing, tea-time golf trivia, an in-course long-game clinic, and the opportunity to play some of Britain’s most iconic courses.

The itinerary includes a curated two-night pre-cruise land programme at The Goodwood Hotel in the beautiful South Downs National Park in West Sussex and the chance to play in the inaugural RSSC Golf Tournament. Once onboard, Grandeur stops at Belfast (two nights in port), Glasgow (Greenock, overnight in port), Scotland, Isle of Man, Liverpool (two nights in port), Dublin, Cork and Waterford in Ireland. And there’s the opportunity to play six courses along the way including Open courses Turnberry, Ailsa, and Royal Lytham & St Annes.
